Macarthur Coal Limited is the world's largest producer of (seaborne) low volatile pulverised coal injection (LV PCI) coal product used for steel making. As a supplier to the world's leading steel producers, Macarthur Coal exports its entire product around the globe.

Macarthur Coal has three operating mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin and a fourth mine in development. The Company also has a strong portfolio of exploration tenements in the region.

Macarthur Coal has a strategic focus on operational excellence and sustainable growth and plans to double its 2009 production capacity by 2014.
